• On 18-02-09 Chief Justice of Pakistan Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry will address the All Pakistan Lawyers Convention in Peshawar.

• On 29-01-2009 at 11:00 AM Imran Khan will address lawyers of Islamabad Bar Association and civil society at District Courts, F-8 Markaz Islamabad.

• Islamabad Bar Association in its general body meeting demanded Co-Chairman of PPP to honour his words and immediately restore the Honourable Chief Justice Mr. Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry as Chief Justice of Pakistan, together with fellow judges. In the general body meeting of Islamabad Bar Association held on 25th of August 2008, it was unanimously decided by the honourable members of the Bar to stage demonstration and sit-in on 28th August at Zero Point Islamabad, and further it was decided to continue with the program of Mr. Aitzaz Ahsan Chairman National Committee of Lawyers. It was further decided to facilitate and participate the demonstration in front of Parliament on 4th September 2008.
   

• Long March from 10th June to 13th June In the general body meeting the lawyers of Islamabad Bar Association paid tribute to American lawyers and the rest of International Lawyers fertinaty for their solidarity with the lawyers of Pakistan in the quest of restoration of judiciary.
   

• After the culmination of the procession dated 09-11-07, the members of the Islamabad Bar Association unanimously passed a resolution for the immediate release of lawyer fraternity. The judges who took oath under PCO (Provisional Constitutional Order) was condemned and it was decided that no member of the Bar Association will appear before Supreme Court and High Court.
   

• The proclamation of Emergency in the country was termed as Black Day in the history of Pakistan and an assault on the freedom of the people of Pakistan. The new PCO (Provisional Constitutional Order) and suspension of Constitution was termed as cowardly attack on the judiciary and sabotage of judicial institutes. The Lawyers vigorously protested and it was unanimously resolved that the Lawyers Fraternity shall continue their struggle till the independence of judiciary, removal of General Pervez Musharaf and restitution of Constitution.

• The indiscriminate arrest of lawyers after the proclamation of emergency and use of brutal force was termed as shameful and against the nomenclature of civilized nations. The state was condemned for incepting the law enforcing agencies to curb the lawyers movement after the suspension of fundamental rights and the step was observed as pushing the country to the verge of civil war.

• Honourable Mr. Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry, the Chief Justice of Pakistan addressed the lawyers fraternity of Pakistan at Supreme Court Auditorium on 26th May, 2007. All the Bar Associations participated in the event.

• Mr. Imran Khan a re-nouned politician addressed the Islamabad Bar Association regarding judicial crisis in Pakistan.

• Funeral prayers of the people killed in Karachi violence and Additional Registrar Supreme Court Mr. Hammad Raza was offered in front of Supreme Court of Pakistan Building, Constitutional Avenue at 11:00 AM 17th May, 2007.

• A protest against the brutal killings in Karachi on 12th May, 2007 and shameful murder of Additional Registrar Supreme Court Mr. Hammad Raza was carried out by the Islamabad Bar Association in front of Supreme Court of Pakistan at 12:30 PM 15th May, 2007.

• The Amir of Jamat e Islami Qazi Hussain Ahmad addressed Islamabad Bar Association at 11:00 AM 14th May, 2007. He addressed the Bar on the present judicial crisis and specially bloodshed in Karachi by the ruling party (MQM).
